What are the differences between the 2019 Mazda CX-9 and 2018 Mazda CX-9?
Under the hood of both the 2018 and 2019 Mazda CX-9 models sits a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T turbocharged engine paired with a six-speed SKYACTIV®-DRIVE automatic transmission to generate up to 250 horsepower and 310 pounds-foot of torque. Both model years are able to get you an EPA-estimated 22/28 (city/highway) mpg, so you never stop short of your destination.
New to the 2019 model year is Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ capability. Drivers are able to pair their Apple or Android smartphones to their vehicles to access navigation, send and receive texts and calls, listen to music, and more by accessing all of their favorite apps. The base 2019 Mazda CX-9 Sport features a revised Commander control knob along with improved cloth seats, three-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, Smart City Brake Support automatic emergency braking, and more.
Drivers who opt for the CX-9 Touring’s Premium Package will find that SiriusXM now comes with SiriusXM Travel Link® Services for the 2019 model year. SiriusXM Travel Link® Services keep drivers informed each time they hit the road by providing live traffic updates, sports scores, weather updates, nearby parking information, and even fuel prices. The 2019 CX-9 Grand Touring model adds a new 7-inch TFT reconfigurable gauge cluster display to give drivers all their information in one place. Additionally, a new 360° View Monitor, power-folding door mirrors, and ventilated front seats have been added to the Grand Touring trim level.
